Join us to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dave Ryder’s first summer as a camper. This event also coincides with the Camp Onaway Centennial.

Come back to the hillside for a long weekend with old friends and familiar sights. Experience it all again: Bugle calls; Duties; Hobbs Field; Soaks in Newfound Lake; Campfire skits and much more.

Event Details
When: August 18th-21st, 2011
Where: The Hillside!
Lodging: We will continue to accept reservations until our space limitations (the first 150) are reached. We encourage you to reserve a bunk at camp or to make a reservation for the weekend at one of the local inns or motels.
Registration: To attend the weekend, please download and complete a registration form by clicking here and by sending a payment in to the camp office (5 South State Street, Concord, NH 03301). A form will also be mailed to you in the coming days.
Onaway Centennial: To attend certain Onaway Centennial events you must register with Camp Onaway separately. Please contact Meredith Funston at mfunston@camponaway.org for more information.

Weekend Schedule

Thursday: Afternoon registration. Dinner followed by a symposium in Baird Hall, Why we come back

Friday & Saturday: Traditional Camp Activities, Alumni Baseball Game, Meals in Mem Hall, Tree Talks

  • Saturday Afternoon Banquet Lunch in honor of Dave Ryder at 1:00 p.m.
  • The Onaway Centennial Dedication Ceremony will take place on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (no registration necessary) and the Onaway Gala Dinner will begin at 4:45 p.m.

Sunday: Chapel Service, 10:30 a.m., Lunch at the Waterfront, 12:00 noon, Close up camp 2:00 p.m. (volunteers needed!)
